Volvo C30 Hatchback 2011 Design

Compared with hot hatches like the Mini Cooper S or Subaru WRX is the 2011 Volvo C30 a different story in Sweden. It will definitely fast and handles well, but Volvo has refused to sacrifice comfort for performance, even in sports-listening R-Design trim. The result is something refreshing in this segment: a clever tailgate that is perfectly comfortable to drive on a daily basis. Other than the Volkswagen GTI, no rival to match the refinement of the C30 - and aesthetically speaking, the C30 is in a class of one.

A product of the Ford era at Volvo, the C30 (as correspondents S40 sport sedan) share the design of the base platform with the Mazda 3 and the latest Ford Focus. Good thing we have applauded these foundations in practically any application. Power comes from Volvo's familiar turbocharged five-cylinder engine that cranks a healthy 227 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. C30 finally gives a bit of sportiness to the competition, but it compensates with superior elegance and sophistication.

2011 Volvo C30 is not your typical "hot hatch". Of course, it was a powerful turbocharged engine and sport suspension are available, but the Swede is more than just speed. Do not get me wrong - the C30 actually performed very well and is more dynamic characteristics of most of the drivers of benefit of treatment. But the elegant and classic design tailgate lifts the old Volvo, the C30 is also the closest thing to art in this segment of cars.

And then there's the unique aesthetic, which is particularly evident in the distinctive sloping rear window is too large and the vertical taillights trademark. Inside you'll find a console "floating" center familiar with S40 and other Volvo. Debut for 2011 is a new front fascia inspired by the XC60 crossover. We want an 'idea - a common past C30 S40 is a fairly common front - but we're not sure of the implementation of the C30 looks a little' nose-heavy. Yet, there is no doubt that Volvo has maintained a small door a distinctive look.
